About us
Trauma‑Informed Care Rooted in Safety, Connection, and Cultural Humility
Our Mission
A&B Family Therapy supports adults, couples, and families through trauma‑informed, relational, and culturally responsive therapy. We believe healing happens in safe, supportive relationships and we are committed to providing care that is grounded, collaborative, and paced with intention.

What Trauma means to us
To us, trauma means fostering safety and predictability in every interaction, while centering consent, collaboration, and transparency. We remain mindful of cultural, generational, and systemic influences, and honor each person’s unique pacing and nervous system capacity. Above all, we approach healing through a non‑pathologizing, strengths‑based lens that highlights resilience and inherent worth.
Who We Serve
We serve adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, or burnout, as well as couples seeking support with communication, trust, and emotional connection. Our work also extends to families navigating conflict, life transitions, or intergenerational trauma, including multicultural, immigrant, and first‑generation households. In addition, we provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families, ensuring each person feels respected and supported.

Our Approach

SOMATIC THERAPY
Embodying self‑regulation by tuning into the wisdom of both the body and the mind

ATTACHMENT BASED THERAPY
Guides you in understanding how attachment shapes relationships and in creating secure, resilient connections.
Through parts‑work, we help clients process trauma, restore nervous system balance, and create more supportive patterns. Our team works with adults recovering from early wounds, couples rebuilding connection, and families addressing intergenerational challenges
Why We Stand Out
We go beyond traditional counseling. We are a trauma‑informed community committed to helping adults, couples, and families heal, grow, and thrive.

SPECIALIZED CARE
Our practice integrates EMDR therapy with adult trauma work, relational therapy for couples and families, and somatic healing approaches.

RELATIONAL FOCUS
We support clients in cultivating secure bonds, clearer communication, and relationships rooted in trust and attunement

GROUNDED SUPPORT & LASTING CHANGE
Our team offers attuned, trauma‑informed care that respects your story and fosters enduring emotional health and stronger relational bonds.
