About Yakov

My name is Yakov, and I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Golden Gate University. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, using a mix of psychodynamic and evidence-based approaches like ACT, depending on what fits each person best.

I'm passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families, to help them navigate trauma or other challenges that may hold them back, and to support their growth in a meaningful way.

I offer a warm, culturally responsive, and LGBTQ+ affirming space in both English and Hebrew, and I work under the supervision of Arlene Ticoulet.
